some kids have passion for learning as natural as when they were born, you don't need to push, you just show them as much as possible the opportunities to read good stories, interesting stories, as diverse as possible, including all kinds of newspapers, pop magazines, classical literature readings, their knowledge will built up gradually..

Putting too much focus on school curriculum, in the short run, helps the kid to get into the exam skills, but not knowledge enquiry..

Readings are the best way to learn--in all kinds of readings without screening, provided with your support to show him/her how to make sense of the readings they encounter..
