It is all right if you don't understand, the information is not important to you!
What you said may not be important to me but I do hope the following information is useful to you as well as other readers.
HKU conducts graduates employment surveys every year. The latest one was for 2012. The salary information (median $40000 for pcll graduates) together with names of the firms are reported in detail. Just google "hku pcll graduates employment survey".

A few big names...... and most of those that are working in big firms are from the prestigious JD program.........very likely...................... and of course NOT from LLB.............
HKU JD + LLB + LLB( double degrees) almost amount to 300 students + competition from overseas graduates
How many PCLL graduates are there each year?
Where did those that were not admitted to PCLL go?
It's not my intention to humiliate any llb gradutes. Being a lawyer is still a prestigious profession nowadays. But it is the fact that only a minority of them can work in city firms/ magic circles, others will work in some local firms, no matter they are from hku cu or city u. Having said that, working in local firms by no means concludes that they are less respectable.
