據我的理解是 "the school will choose 300 kids out of all the applicants (doesn't matter how many applicants ....maybe 1000 applicants, maybe 600 applicants...etc..) from the first interview. It isn't necessary 30% out of 100%...it might be less than 30% if more applicants (vice versa).

And, it is correct that the school will choose 50%  0f 300 (i.e. 150 kids) for the admission.

LeoLonglongma 係講梗每一階段的佔分比重...
- 第一階段會見佔總分 30%, 從中選三百個學生進入第二階段
- 第二階段會見佔總分 50%, 若有父親/兄長 曾是/現役學生, 會加多總分的 10%.
- 另外學業及課外活動成績佔多10%, 加埋就係100%. 當然, 最高分的150名學生就會順利成為dbspd 的學生 !

其實所有資料皆在他們網頁上寫得非常清楚.

Sorry for misleading, what I mean 30% out of 100% is the marks of performance for each kid and not related to the no. of applicant.  Hope it's all clear, thks.

今日星期六，好多家長都在今天交表，我十點半去排了一個鐘頭先至交到份表，不過比我遲去的家長更慘要排到出課室門口。我的申請編號是一千二百幾，我唸去到下星期一學校今年至少會收到1700份申請。
