十分多謝你(wishyouwerehere)的意見和提點, 已將你的貼子傳給小兒, 他十分雀躍, 知道自己能掌握和用心去手繪製作portfolio, 不用去上甚麼3D 和 building model courses, 可以騰出十分十分寶貴時間去準備DSE.

landscape都係design 但都係professional的 art／design有底開頭會比較ok landscape呢行係香港算係好細好細同埋demand夠大所以唔駛擔心無工開haha～
但要成為registered landscape architect係要有master of landscape architecture
而家得hku有呢個professional degree，THEi個個唔係professional的
所以覺得呢行岩佢的話
就叫佢比d心機讀 讀好d 儲多d work／design比賽（自己爭取機會）
grad左再報hku啦 或者有錢去外國讀master

多謝你詳細的分析。
即最後要在HKU 或CU 完成Master課程才可考牌，但他們會否傾向收city u 或外國的degree holder 呢？囝囝正在city修讀year2,現正處於樽頸位，究竟上city 讀埋degree 定去英國讀year2degree (以前香港完成higher Diploma 是可到英國接year2)比較易上master

小弟我黎緊諗住去澳洲讀bachelor of archi,為期三年,,但我又唔想係澳洲讀埋master,,我想黎返香港讀CU/HKU既master....唔知咁樣可唔可行?

但係我唔知道我咁既case,hku/cu既master會唔會唔收我?...同埋對考牌方面有冇負面影響?因為我驚HKIA唔當我係讀左一個完整既program....

希望師兄有時間可以解一解小弟既疑難,感激萬分...

there are a number of city degree grads getting MArch offers and as far as I know they are top students in cityU (usually first hon). chance is slim but it's not impossible. if $ is not a concern I'd suggest going overseas to gain international exposure then coming back to HK, after all HK is quite a limited place for architecture education..

which Uni? some architecture schools in AUS are actually better than those in HK lol....it's totally possible for you to complete 3 yrs of undergrad in archi and come back HK for master, but for sure you need a good portfolio and a GPA that is not too bad. I think it's better to have master overseas than in HK (u'll know why after your studies in australia), finish your undergrad first before thinking to continue Master lol, you may want to quit after a month because of the workload! good luck to your architecture journey!

知道建築系條路係好長好長和工作量超大，要挨足七八年才去考牌，讀書時又要帶埋睡袋去studio工作，而回報亦比其他專業學系相對低。
雖然有和阿仔分析，不過條路係佢揀，希望佢唔好似半途而廢，好似師兄你咁捱落去。祝你做完實習，讀埋Master,考埋個牌，入到好的建築師行磨練, 再自行開檔。再次多謝你的指引。

小兒今屆HKDSE想報HKU Surveying, 三間U都有此科，是否將來就業比較難呢？

小兒對城市規劃頗有興趣，有意來年入讀BAUS (HKU), 再修讀Master in UP (HKU),。規劃師行頭是否很窄，前境與收入如何(Govt Vs Private Sector)。
中大都有呢科，但收生嘅DSE 分數比HKU 低好多，兩者(HKU & CU)有如何分別？

No. HKU & CityU & PolyU Surveying all have different specialties in surveying. Go to the info day and ask...info about surveying in HK are all over the web. Surveyors are professional (i.e. they take registration exams which are enlisted in the law of HK) and there are different types of surveyors so don't worry about jobs, worry about if you can go all the way through from university to the professional exams and practice. all the best.

undergrad urban studies are new to both HKU & CUHK. It is not a professional degree to being a urban planner, to my understanding, my friends in urban studies are basically taking a few courses about urban design/planning, then a lot other courses from other departments like sociology/politics/geography/anthropology/cultural studies, as long as the things in the courses are related to the concept of CITY/URBAN, it's about urban studies....

I don't know about the admission score as I'm too old for this...I bet everything in HKU requires higher grades in public exams than CUHK?? thats not necessarily relevant to the quality of teaching, go check out more in the upcoming info days.
