SPCC剛收 但想等英華(已決定)

We got similar headache last year.  Our girl fortunately or not got 3 offers: 1.SPCC vs 2.a top DSS girl's school in Kln vs 3.another famous subsized girl's college (it gave us hints of accepting our application).  At that moment, my girl only focused on no. of p.6 schoolmates entering while we parents prefer the students' comprehesive development & learning atmosphere as a whole.  Finally, we did a quantitative method of using a score card to 'weight' them!   We 3 together listed out all factors (like fees, traffic, campus, uniform, lunch, old friends, estimated pressure in learning, etc. all the realistic & funny things we & our girl might think of) in our decision path.  Of course, such method may not be 100% rational but at least eliminate some of our subjective/emotional impact to a certain extent.
Now we're very glad to find that our girl's studying at SPCC happily!  We see her similing face, stronger confidence, more active in joining extra-curricular activities & eagerness for school days during weekend (very unexpected to us!).  Her teachers also gave us very positive comments on her performance & attitude. I'm not hard-selling this school as no single school would be best fit for all.  But understand parents' difficulty in making such decision and just want to share w/ them.  Wish your children all have a happy school life!

as i know, 5會 lor!  當然5排除其中會有 pigeon eyes 分子 (間間學校都會有, 5一定好有錢, 係個人問題), 但同學g 間跟本5會拿你屋企有冇錢來討論, 反而彼此相處得都幾融洽吓.  老實, 要自卑5一定係因為冇錢 lor.....講真你家裏有錢又與我何干, 又5駛問你借, 担心其他野好過......將來大個仔/女, 叻 ge mic 自己揾 lor, 自信心lei d 要教小朋友.

覺得係同學之間知道會白眼又未必係學校,你未必知佢地點唸,佢地學生有錢家庭為多,冇錢的可能會自卑,這是我唸的,但不是冇可能

Thanks & congratulations for being accepted by SPCC, even though u may not choose it finally.

But one thing i can tell u as one-mama that my kid have a terrific school life there! :)

多謝你分享,一路以為spcc是非富則貴的學生,令人卻步,這spcc是我dream school你解答我的疑問

我講嘅出國係唔單指11月嘅SAW(Srudent activity week)WOR，連暑假去London GEI SUMMER PROGRAMME(ENG/CAMBRIDGE SCIENCE)合資格同學都有資助，最高係全費近4萬喎。校方希望收到gei學生唔會因經濟問題而得唔到受良好教育嘅機會，btw如果講大左請多多包涵，請其他spcc家長指正。thx

spcc 係 dream school, 但衰在佢係咁貴既DSS, 好擔心個個都係有錢人, 但呢度d家長分享後, 真係放心好多, 雖然好難考到, 但起碼知多d. 我都係路過收吓料先啫.

雖然入場費似乎令人嚇一跳，但除常設的學費減免外，成績好的亦有奬學金(?)，我在就讀的朋友仔，他們不是班中最 top，但每月也有減二千學費，當然...如果成績跌，就沒有了

如果供得起就一定揀spcc，但覺得辛苦就無謂強求。本人唔多贊成申請學費減免，始終會有點抬不起頭的感覺.你的小朋友要是有本事，去邊間學校都會有好成績。
