收了高主教取錄信的家長，請問該校有何優點令你們肯放棄攪珠的權利？

My friend's son is accepted by Ramondi.  We had a discussion about whether she should take the offer.  Finally, she decided that she will take it.
1) good subsidized schools in her net is half day school only.  E.g. Wah Yan hard to get in, very few seats.  St. Jo lots of competition to get into St. Joseph College.
2) Ramondi uses Mandarin to teach Chinese Language.  Very few subsidized schools can provide this.

Yes, it is our right to enter into the lucky draw, but we have to bear a high risk that we cannot get a school of our choice.  

To me, the uncertainty waiting through June will drive me mad.  I prefer to have a bird on hand.

It is not bad to take Raimondi.  The school is of good standard and the pupils are of good attitude.

I will register on Sat too.  The fact is that Raimondi is really not bad.  Why do we have to wait till June?

高主教沒有精英班，功課多但壓力不大。中文用普通話教授，
有英文常識，英文數；上到英中會較容易適應。
有直屬英中，直上機會大。

可以到小學綱站看中一派位結果，除了大部份學生升高主教中學，
有16 人派到英皇，其它有St Jo, Queen's , St Paul Co-ed,
華仁, St Paul Boys。

雖然軒小的聯繫中學為皇仁, 但每年派到去皇仁的都不出30人, 如入不到皇仁, 就多入維官, 金文泰等。高主教中學雖不及皇仁, 華仁及St Joe, 但到底都是英中, 差極都有個譜, 如小朋友在小學讀得好, 都一樣可以搏入一些band 1 top的中學, 但起碼有間直屬英中作後盾, 況且, 我知軒官的程度, 如跟高主教相比, 真是有差別(因大女兒曾在軒官讀過一年級, 現已轉校, 兒子正於高主教就讀)。高主教唯一一樣缺點就是要付學費。

Hi,

Very agree with npMaMa, the only disadvantage is "need to paid".

It is surely a pressure if you need to push your son EVERYDAY on homework, dictation, online reading (etc etc...). Raimondi gives an environment for their self-leaning, most importantly is that they don't push parent that much.

I am a working mum, can't stand for that much pressure from school really.

I live in kowloon side. I have to decide whether I should give up the lucky draw. Although I like this school, I wonder whether my kid will be very tired to travel a long distance to school everyday. Can anyone share?

Hi,

I live in Kowloon side also.  I leave home with my son everyday around 7:30 pm (the latest).

To me its alright, as it makes no difference for me between travelling to Chan Wai/Central or Kowloon Tong where most famous Secondary Sch are situated.

I gave up the lucky draw at the very last minute last year before the official results of 2nd round lucky draw announced.
