Up till now, the most valuable reason to choose St Mary is through train to its' secondary.

If other reasons take into account, then it's rather complicated.

合自己兒女讀得開心又上盡，間學校已係父母心中的"第一"了 !

My daughter is in SMCS now. I am very happy with the school. Although the school has strict rules, the teachers are caring. And to me, the rules are really to help them to learn and be responsible. They have homework but my daughter finishes them before I get home on most days. And of course, the school has high expectation of their students, but that's life. You want your child to be in a good school, your child will have to be a good student.

I also like the Principal.

Haha~~ same response/reply as  the parents of St. mary's students. ( if you have a kid or kids have studied at these two schools, the answer will be more meaningful )

我覺得無謂 compare，兩間都係好學校。

我認識不同年代的 mcs 同 smcs 學生，有自己朋友，亦有係我仔的朋友。個人就鍾意 smcs 多 d ，咁多年來都係實力派。

The two schools are my dream schools and I faced the same problem in choosing the best one for my daughter in 2004.  After considering various factors,  I selected St. Mary's.  I am glad that my daughter is having a happy school life.

Anyway, the two schools are good.  MCS is more famous and SMCS is more 實力派。

我囡囡現在MCS就讀, 我覺得這些學校的比較，提出的人通常都不是第一身有孩子就讀在那些學校，很多時只是道聽途說，就當作是學校的全部特質。其實，根本就不用比較，好學校之間只會「識英雄，重英雄」，彼此借鏡，務求提升自家的質素。

而且，不論是名校或其他學校，他們都有自家的特色，我覺得最重要小朋友讀得開心，又學到野就已經足夠，作為家長應該對孩子的學校多多支持.
