My kid got the AM offer from a kindergarten in the government's Free Quality Kindergarten Education Scheme, and the PM offer from a quite well-known private kindergarten in Kowloon Tong. We decide to take the private one's offer.
It's a difficult decision but we think that what a young child obtains from a school is not only knowledge but also certain ways of acting, knowing and being. In other ways, values and behaviour of classmates, how things are organized at school, the school's expectations on your child and the classroom teaching approach can also be impactful for your child's growth. These will not be lost entirely under the Zoom/e-learning mode.
Besides, the prestige of a kindergarten may be helpful at the door-knock stage. If the private kindergarten is better known and affordable, why don't you pick the private one?
