Apart from the school fees, what are the other expenses should one expect? And around how much a year?

Do you already have kids studying there or is this going to be the first one?
We are getting an assessment for the 2019 prep year in Oct, so if all goes well my son should get in...I hope!

yes, i already have one who is studying in AISHK. My little boy is also getting an assessment in Oct too.

In their email to me they said about 45mins and it will be like a mini playgroup session, so I don't know how many people will be in that "playgroup".
"The teachers will be looking at your child's social and emotional development, their proficiency in English, use of launguage, their engagement with the activities and their interaction with peers and adults as well as their general readiness for the Reception/Preparatory program" they said the kids will have lots of fun during the assessment so no need for preparation!
