Kamchu8888, thank you for your sharing.  I have viewed the thread.  The placement result shown there for SC is really amazing.

SC got 800+ graduates a year ?!!! That's really a huge number !

as christi said the SC has over 800 graduates..

i think LH provide the BEST visibility to the parents among all KG in town. they have the stats for both nos of offers to DSS/private schools and that of final placement. and i think the nos of offer stats is a better indicator showing the abilities of their graduates to compete with others for admissions to DSS/private school.

if you divide the nos of offers by the nos of graduates. you can see their graduates on avg got more than 2 nos of offers for DSS/private school.

Actually, LH did a lot for their students. That's why it become one of the most emerging KG in town...

首先, 假如間學校收左好多DGS舊生的小朋友, 咁人地入番DGS, 就梗係有優勢啦. 但蔡繼有係新學校, 我諗無舊生咁快生到仔出來掛. 單比較蔡繼有, SC和LH的成功率, 真係差唔多喎.

Well,my concern is if there are 800+ graduates each year,and the total offers from private n DSS were 680+ for the year 2011,that  means at least there were 120+ graduates who got no offer. This I assume one student got one offer. But in reality some students may have several offers, which implies the total number of no-offer graduates were much more than 120+.

Compared to the amazing number of offers from those famous school and the number of no-offer students, I would guess it's the family education which level up the smart kids, not very much related to the school.

Correct me if you have different idea.

那麼LH青衣campus, 87個學生, 總共二百一十多個offer, 就的確係好輝煌的戰績.

或者咁講, LH係用心機去train班學生, 相信亦會對個別學生作出針對性部署, 叻的幫佢地考好學校, 差的學生亦教他們考一些次一級的學校, 唔會等佢地自生自滅, 否則又如何做到平均每個學生兩點幾個offer.

The figure of 680+ from SC for DSS/ private schools should refer to final P1 placement for last year K3 wor, not total offers!

From other posts in this forum, it learns that LH will provide thorough training and talks to K2 students for P1 admission.Am I correct?

SC計算k3 將會升讀小一學校大約有+680私立直資小學,其他的是津校(華仁,喇沙...........或其他........)
不是+800學生得+680offer

其實我想問, LH的第一個campus, 是不是青衣. 因為青衣campus的87個學生, 考到二百一十多個offer ( 還沒有計算官小和津小幸運大抽獎 ), 反觀LH另外兩個campus, 其中一個平均每名學生1.5個offer, 另一個有1.75個offer, 但青衣campus就兩點幾.

but frankly speaking, I can't see the 680+ are the final placement in the link you provided. Some of the parents in SC thought that were the total offers as well ( from the link you provided ). but if you are a SC parent, i would trust your word then.

我唔知道你係LH邊個campus, 不過如果你住青衣, 又考到LH的青衣campus, 不妨考慮讀LH. 講真, 如果係SC vs York, 我都會認為要揀SC. 但LH近年真係搞得好. 好多 XX vs SC, 都應該係SC, 但LH唔同.

no of offer is really a better indicator of the graduates' abilities. cuz those eventually went for aided school may have given up the offers of DSS/private school, or just becuz the kids got enough pts to be admitted to an elite aided school.

680 now of offers out of 8xx graduates could not be considered brilliant results... just becuz the percentage of admission to TOP DSS/private  (e.g.DGS, DBS) looks a bit higher... on avg LH did much better for DSS/private school admissions.
