Totally agree. Throughout the K1 year (int'l class) my little monkey's Eng has improved noticeably and now at K2, he is able to , apart from some words he hasn't come across, communicate with our maid and me in Eng comfortably. Prior to K1, he was in a 100% Cantonese environment, and thus I am very glad at his improvement. Thanks to York.But most importantly, similar to your son and the boy of my colleague's elder sister's, my son always love to go to school. I actually dont know why cos he can't give me any concrete reason.
I would think teachers play a big role in that regard.
He has just started K2 with 2 new class teachers with whom I am not yet familiar, but his K1 teachers are simply fantastic - caring, sympathetic, proactive in notifying us about my son's schooling regardless of their busy shedule.
Yes it's a bit expensive, yet I am still truly thankful to York - good eng + giving my boy a happy kg life!
