Will "top 3" be an oversimplified guideline?  I've heard that rather it is the "rank order" that determines whether one can be selected for interview.  Is this true?

(I understand that secondary schools including QC will not just shortlist students solely by their "form position", but rather to base on EDB's list of P.6 students arranged in ascending "rank order".  This means that students with form position outside top 3 can still appear relatively high in the "rank order" list for getting an interview.)

So the weighting for rank order vs interview performance is 50% vs 30%.  Interviews still play a vital part in the selection process.  Maybe QC doesn't want bookworm type of high achievers but rather all-round students.  In fact, all-round students are welcome everywhere, aren't they?
