培正及民生的幼稚園及中小學均為好學校, 若為孩子選校 (從幼稚園起), 請問就孩子的將來而言, 哪一間相對較好呢?

Actually, this may be the secret agenda behind the Government scheme.  Some persons do think that the scheme will result in elitism again.

Through this way, the Government may attain the following objectives :

1. Save money; and
2. Get away from the path to mediocrity.

It depends.

While elitism does have its merits, overemphasis on it may lead our children to our old path : those talented ones will get into better schools and receive better education while those average ones may be labelled as a failure.  On the other hand, overemphasis on even opportunity for all children without taking into account their own abilities may lead to another form of unfairness.

The issue is really a complicated one!
