你有没有看過 letterland 呢??

我在這兩個phonics prog 中, 選了jp, 因為jp比較簡單 & suit for 小朋友.

雖然話選了, 但也没有什麼心得 or supporting knowledge. 所以我會去上course.

Jolly Faith Learning Centre 有一個course for parent & teacher, 在6月25日, 是half day 的.  我想問下有没有mama 想一齊去ar.......??

我有壞消息啊!! 那個在6月25日的, Jolly Faith Learning Centre的JP course 取消了!!  因為人數不足.  那些staff 說, 以往次次都full, 但今次可能學校考試, 所以没有人去上堂!!

不過她們在7月5日晚, 有個re-union, 是由原創者Chris Jolly & 2 Australia trainers 主講的.  It's free of charge.  如有興建的mama 可自行致電問問.  tel: 27881866

另外, regular的JP training course 會在7月30日 (六) 舉行, 是full day 的.  fee 應該是 $780.  

我現在不能去上堂, 只好買本handbook 自己學下先la.......  真的很失望

我都知, 但我見他們是official trainer, & also local experience, 而且我打電話去問野時, 他們很耐心答我, 所以我才揀在那centre 上堂.  

wise kid 那個 training, 我的時間不夾啊.....

anyway , thank you.....  I think I will wait for the July training at JFLC.

JP has a new DVD, cost $280.

The 2 hours of the Jolly Phonics Videos now available on DVD.  Designed for children in the classroom or at home, Inky Mouse shows her friends Snake and Bee how to read and write with the help of "honic", an old computer.  The DVD covers all the letter sounds and the five basic skills for reading and writing.

Bonus material includes a fun activity for  children, and for adults, the Using Jolly Phonics Video, explaining the teaching.  There is also an extra section explaining the letter sounds of English, ideal for those learning English as a foreign or second language.

你有没有去re-union 呀??

我昨天去了.  我看到那些在那兒上堂的小朋友很活潑, blending 時, 個個字都會讀.  他們不是一看到字便讀出來, 是一個個音來blend, 然後再讀全個字, 所以很明顯, 她們本來是不懂那個字的.  而且他們很會主動說英文.....  我很impressed.........

他們有些字雖然併錯了, 但我看到老師們也不會對他們說: no/ wrong, 反而會說: nearly, try again, 又提下他們, 又鼓勵下少出聲的小朋友答........ 氣氛不錯.........

我没有買handbook, 因為那兒的staff 也不鼓勵我買, 因我會上parent training, 她們叫我上完堂再考慮.......

我自己反而買了dvd, 但我未看....... 遲些再同有家share 啦......
