DGJS 今日開始 2nd Interview

剛剛同阿女去左 interview, 情況與去年相若。根據阿女報告，今日除左 Mrs. Tai 外，仲有一個老師係房入面同小朋友傾偈。

The first language of my daughter is English but she said that she is being interviewed in Cantonese only.

The whole process is short (10 mins only) and just several questions had been asked. However, my daughter said she is interviewed by Mrs. Dai while the other one is interviewed by teacher only. After that, both of them could leave. Anyone can confirm that our girls are interviewed by principal + teacher or either one only?

my daughter's interview time slot is in pm. we wait for around 40 mins before interview.  the interview took 10 mins only.

我個女第一日 in 時我都見有另一個 no., 而據我所見，第一日總共 in 70 人，亦與今日 interview 的人數頗 match (6th day of interview, 上午 interview no. 去到 300 - 400 之間）。

下? 問小朋友自己點解市適合呢間學校? 我諗就算問我地 d parents 都未必可以即答。

而我阿女就被問叫咩名，and then 睇圖畫，佢話入面有 3 個人，校長問佢個 3 個人有咩分別。另外，佢都有 reading 環節。

我相信上個星期已經 2nd in 完，因為一來有家長打左電話去學校問（無必要講大話），而且從 interview 人數看與上年差不多 (~500 人）。

我忽然諗，會唔會係睇左 成績表同portfolio 之後，根據小朋友既 weakness 嚟問問題呢?

第二個我唔知，但最少我地有如實地將小朋友無咁理想的一方面亦在 portforlio內反映。因為我地相信無人係完美既，如果我個女樣樣都叻，就唔使返學學野啦。另一方面，我地亦希望學校了解清楚個小朋友，唔好係日後到入學先知錯配，大家都會浪費時間同失望。

再者，學校既成績表也有老師既評語，其實係字裹行間都會知個小朋友既 strengths and weaknesses. 以我個女既 case, 我就覺得佢係有睇過個 portforlio 同成績表先會有當日 interview既提問。

same to you. i'm so glad and proud of my girl who had got a chance for 2nd interview. actually, i have not much hope that the school will accept my girl, as she is not the DGJS type girl in my eyes.

其實整個面試已經完成了，大家都可以安心慢慢等待。無論結果如何，我都很開心，因小女可以進入第二次面試。

partly right for me, as i'm not that anxious while waiting for the result (cos' i've not much hope that the school will accept my girl). however, still want to see the msg here as there is always support from all of you here...

After these 35 days, we may become very good "on-line friends". ==> I think so. It's so nice to meet u guys and gals here, and the atmosphere is so good (kind, supportive and warm). If our girls can be classmates next year, it'd be definitely fine. Otherwise, it'd still be nice to make such good friends here like all of u.

唔好咁啦，希望在明天丫... 如果學校唔收，唔好諗係自己個女既問題，有可能係 their loss 呢!! (我成日都咁同自己講架...哈哈...)

無上嚟一排，大家都傾左好多野丫~~~

見到有好多小朋友已經有 offer，真係鄧你地開心。至於未有既亦不用灰心，正如其他人都有講過，好既 offer 一個已足夠，話唔定就係 DGJS 呢!

早排未有咁多放榜消息既時間，見到你地咁緊張，我反而唔o岩上嚟 chat。因為有 d 慚愧，我個女而家已經讀緊 p1，我無你地既 pressure，但相反地，我都會覺得今年再考又好似會加大了大家既競爭，令我不敢作聲。但眼見呢度既爸爸媽媽都係好 open 好 considerate 既人，我更加唔想失左呢班咁好既 online fds。

希望仍然可以係度同大家一同倒數，更加希望你地個個小朋友入到 dream school.

Thanks for ur comforting words, YLMom.

At first, when I re-apply p1, I just want to test my girl's ability as she is a small girl last year. So it's already a surprise and a bonus to me that she can get into the second round interview. Meanwhile, she is already studying a very good school which is also a dream school for most of the parents. Therefore, even there is an offer to her by luck, we will still need to have a family meeting before making decision.

I also thank for ur kind words. 教路唔敢當。其實我今年報左2間學校，比較心儀個間已經衰左。 DGJS 反而係到 Last moment 先決定報。我個女本身超慢熱（唔係講笑），所以我報學校另一個目的係想比多個機會佢見下世面，build up 下佢既自信，僅此而已。不過如果係學習上或成長上大家多 d 交流，當然無任歡迎！
