Local P4 轉校到 IS G6 下學期, 是否風險太大呢? 請賜教

Local P4 = Year 5 in UK because they start Year 1 in K3.


Which month was your child born (at the beginning or end of year)? Their age guidelines are different from those of local schools. You may ask the age range of the classmates in the IS. See if your child is smaller than most of them. IS seldom accelerate learning by allowing the child to jump grades until a child has been tested to be gifted and observed by the school for certain period of time.

No jumping grade in this case as he is a big boy in LS and becomes a small boy in IS.
