Re: Jane1983, yes, I do think your extensive researches did give you the right choice.....it is true that the kids would talk in either English or PTH in school...my eldest son is studying in P1... The Chinese programme after reform is even more advanced and the school is aimed at leveling with the Chinese standard of local school's...but what's even more appealing is that such high level of Chinese is taught in PTH, not Cantonese

RE: Minirat.  You have not misunderstood. 2-year IB is only after S.4... not at an earlier stage.   You are right we prefer SIS/HK => not necessarily mean we like Singapore education at Singapore in general.

The starting year of SIS is PY1 which accepts kids of 4 years old.  So their PY1 is equal to our K2.   Therefore in your case you should apply for academic year 15/16, i.e. entry at August 2015, and you should kickstart the whole process by Sept 2014.

絕對唔 HEA, but creativity of students is still very much treasured, and individual attention and care to students of different characters/needs are sufficient.
