If I were u, I'll give it a year or two and see how it goes. If your girl is really pressured u can still help her transfer to another school later.
If the school chose her, there must certain potentials that the school saw in her. Never underestimate kids' potentials. Have a little faith in yourself and her. Don't give up on what u haven't even started!
