我囝囝都是8科，Music要到校外讀，今年要讀多科M2。

Can he handle that? I mean time management....

I know some schools' teaching progress is behind the schedule.

Also, university only request 2-3 electives, so 4 electives, any advantage? If keep only 3 and spare more time for revision, the result may be better. What's your view?

It's OK to study 4 electives in S4 but it's better to study 2-3 from S5. The advantage of taking 4 in S3 is that one can choose more suitable subjects for him/her.

Yeh, it's sensible, but I still recommend to focus on the program and narrow down the electives.....

因為這些科目都是他喜歡的，他說自已可以handle到才給他試，看看結果怎樣才決定F5是否減科目，但今年考試結果也十分滿意，可能是喜歡和有壓力下才有動力，成績比舊年還好了些。
選四科是沒有什麼優勢入大學，純粹是他喜歡音樂才加多一科，星期六就沒有得去玩，因為是政府開的課程，所以支援和師資比學校開的好。
雖然見他有時好忙，但時間上佢還可安排得來，成績還比以前好些，今年還加多科M2，又他喜歡的科目，我都沒有特別理他，只在閒談中看看他的問題，可能他是些在壓力下才會發揮小宇宙的人，失去的....當然是玩的時間和沒有時間去外遊，今個暑假，他也參加了聯校的義工服務；一些大學的暑期課程和學校的補課。

多謝、他一定會努力完成他自已的決定，據我知好多名校都要求學生讀三科選修科，所以如果讀一科選修科可能入大學的機會會細些。

Yes, my boy before taking IBDP he picked Chem, Bio, Econ, Chinese, English, LC, Core + M2.

For hot programs, 1 elective, the chance pretty slim...

孩子們會為他們的夢想作出努力，你孩子選擇的科正也十分正路，在大學選科也比較多，孩子們努力吧。
