Actually the teacher mentioned the number of applicants during the introduction talk in the open playground, it's 1XXX.  (under 2000 lar anyway)

...

We could not hear more than 10 words in the introduction talk as the space was open and the speakers targeted mainly in the covered area......

What was the interview time?  They changed to use another PA system later after they find out the parents have difficulty hearing what the teacher said.

Basically the speech some basic information about the kindergarten which you can find from the kindergarten website.  The important information has already been given on the note given to each parents at the end of the interview, concerning the date of result announcement and registration date only.

Our interview time was 9:30 and we were in lane H. We heard about the slip of paper and thought it had all the info.

I just noticed that those kids who are allocated to Room A B C, they are taller and they seem to be the 'bigger girls or boys' Anyone got any ideas?
I did not go with my girl. I stayed at the back and so I could see clearly.

I think the room allocation depends on the time you handed in your application form. My friends who handed in the form more or less the same time on Fri got allocated in the same room at the same time.

some parents really have a lot of imagination on the interview arrangement.

It is very simple, just like this member said, the interview time and room are simply assigned according to the order of submitting the application.  Nothing else.

YES. I AGREED W WHAT WIANLEE SAID. JUST RELAXE & DON'T FEEL UPSET.

MY GAL ALSO HAD THE DIFFICULTY IN SPEAKING CANTONESE AS HER GRANDPA & GRANDMA SPEAKS PTH ALL THE TIMES. WE SPEAK ENGLISH WITH MY GAL IN GENERAL.

AFTER INTERVIEWED IN GH I REALIZED WE NEED TO TALK TO MY GAL IN CANTONESE FREQUENTLY SO SHE CAN HAS GOOD COMMUNICATIONS W HER CLASSMATES IN PN NOW & HANDLE THE INTERVIEW FOR ANY SCHOOLS W LOCAL STREAM PROPERLY IN THE FUTURE. WE STILL HAVE THE INTEVIEW TO GO IN HEEP YUN ON 1/29. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.

MY GAL GAVE THE ANSWER OF "TOMATO" TO "APPLE" & HARDLY CUT THE PLASTIC FRUITS INTO HALF.
THOUGH OUR RESULT IS NOT GOOD BUT I JUST THINK IT'S STILL THE GOOD EXPERIENCE TO KNOW WHAT TYPE OF INTERVIEW WE WILL HAVE ON THOSE SCHOOLS WE R FAVOURITE.

haha, I guess parents like the fun of guessing how the rooms are being assigned?   I guess they didn't submit the form themselves since if they are there, then they should notice the labels are simply being sticked in sequence only (along with the room number).

其實係 interview 果陣老師係冇任何文件或小朋友資料, 咁係唔係一見完個小朋友就可以即平分為取錄生, 備取生, 及不合適.....因為我本人覺得就算個老師一日見一百個人當中總有啲係邊緣佢都應該有啲記號/評語寫下( 可能都有, 我係考E 室我見出面幫手貼名個兩位義工家長都好難係個list 揾名, 當然佢哋可能又唔大熟, 個老師 in 完係咪又要揾反list 或者我哋交那份Form , 因為見面的先後係跟排隊順序個老師叫入去時佢都跟本唔知見邊個, 要真到個小朋友坐底睇佢個貼紙先會知 ) 再講係咪個老師有決定權收唔收個小朋友怎致有配額 , 例如每個老師可收十個小朋友咁 in 佢時有好表現嘅第十一個小朋友會無機會定係之前十個小朋友選走冇咁好那個定或加埋全部老師睇吓有冇超額先, 真的不知準則.
點都好大家以平常心等待二月中
