囡囡係新加坡讀書唔開心，返香港有咩國際學校係容易d入

個囡係新加坡讀完個form 2，幾乎同d local無兩句，又融入唔到。
而家放緊暑假，1月返去升form3
而家想返黎幫佢搵國際學校，打左去yewchung 就唔再收生喇
想報american international school, 但聽朋友講麻麻地
係呢方面唔係好清楚，仲有咩國際學校係校譽好少少架
囡囡英文唔錯，但係成績麻麻地。。。

其實新加坡人都好歧視香港人 覺得自己superior d, 係華人入面最勁無論香港人定內地人都係叫你PRC

Form 2 = Year 9，各國際學校開始多人出國 boarding，形成各國際學校會開始 "大執位"，位就一定有，但因國際學校學位需求也大，入學要求是會很高。
Yew Chung 可以排 waiting，始終較多本地人，不及其他國際學校吸引力高，入讀機會點都比其他國際學校大。
我又唔信排 waiting 都唔得，一月入唔到，等下年九月入。
佢地 Year 10 Year 11 是 prepare IGCSE 的，等住先，到學年尾又一批人走，下年九月可能有位。
American International School 又未至於差到咁囉，你當佢係一間美國 public school ，不是美國 private or elite school。
睇下你有幾迫切找學校啦，如果個女在那邊唔開心，你想佢可以早些回香港，邊間有位比你都要感恩。
你都話佢成績麻麻，咁 american curriculum 可能適合 D。找到邊間，都要比心機讀，唔努力，學校幾好都冇用。

如果Year 10 (2002 年出生）ESF DC/RC/IS 都有位，可以一試。

因為有d學校話無得transfer credit既問題 所以可能要repeat form 2 下半年，因為新加坡學制同香港唔同。
如果阿女1月返去已經係form3開學， 而家10-12月放緊讀完form2既暑假

係咪有某幾間學校 特別需要connections 係無咩機會報？

報Year 9 DC 同 IS 都有位。

但IS 要重建，會暫時搬去沙田同大圍幾年。

Transfer credits? This is new to me. I have seen people come and leave Hong Kong from different countries at different age groups. Not much problems they have encountered.
The problems you have with transferring to and from countries with a school year that start in January will always be like that. Depending on your child's standard, you probably have to either repeat or skip half a year.
Since you said your daughter 成績麻麻 , may be there is not much to lose if she repeat half a year.

That's what i was thinking about. I don't really want her to skip 6months of doing nothing. I am just worried about the entry and the reputation of those international schools. Cos i dont have any connections :)

Of course not totally skip school. If some school accept her for next september, just let her attend her present school until aug.

Hi，我女女們都係讀新加坡國際學校，佢地學校有好多新加坡人，佢地全部都話響香港容易過響新加坡，同埋佢地同香港果班人玩得好埋。因為你女女響新加坡果邊番黎，如果入新加坡國際既話會簡單好多，好似做個簡單面試就可以。但如果你女女係因為學業壓力而唔鍾意新加坡學校既話，咁就要考慮清楚。因為新加坡國際係比其他國際學校谷既，同埋功課量，程度同新加坡學校相差無幾

樓主, 我曾打算小女去新加坡讀中學, 想請問你, 為什麼當年讓囡囡去新加坡讀書?  可否分享一下?
