Prettymothe, SJC only takes 60 students every year, and it is full day KG.
Therefore, for those parents who don't like full-day school, they don't even consider and they won't pay attention to it.

It really depends on what do you want, SJC and 禮賢 are totally different style.  In terms of academic, of course SJC is much higher, but the school fees and tuition is also higher.

禮賢 and SJC have their primary school, so which primary school you like better or suit your kid better?

For me, I have chosen SJC because their English standard is high.

I suggest you visit both schools and check out which one is the best for your kid.  No one can make decision for your kid except yourself.

Agree that SJC and KRS are very different schools:


SJC: No education voucher. PN-K3, back-up with SJC Primary School.  K1 (AM class / whole day class), K2-K3: whole day class.  Medium of instruction is English.  Famous of high academic standard, esp. English & Maths.  Students are learning 1 to 2 terms textbook in advance.

KRS: No education voucher starting from 2012 K1.  K1-K3, back-up with KRS Primary School. Only AM / PM from K1-K3.  Famous of moral and ethical education, big campus with advance facilities, active-learning approach, teachers are very caring, happy school life.

KRS is renowned of good moral education and caring teachers. Most of the secondary schools welcome the graduates of KRS Primary school.
SJC is very low profile or even mysterious. Besides those rumours, we seldom heard anything about this school. If I were you, I would not have the courage to try since English is not everything.

If English is your major concern, I will suggest you go for 禮賢.
SJC parents understand there will be "Give" and "Takes"  If the school deliver high academic standard, we have to accept their primary campus is small, old with lack of faciliities.   To be honest, SJC Kindergarten section hv improved much better after managed by the new principal.  The only thing they need to improve is the primary campus and facilities.

Chewy, I agree.  Last time when I visited SJC KG, I saw the kids can talk to teachers in English, that impressed me.

are you sure k2 and k3 are full day class?  i am thinking to let my son to study SJC K2 in the coming Aug.  

Besides the school fee $4xxx, do you know any other fees that we need to pay?  thanks!
