(Latest update : 1 March 2022)

Dear Parents of Applicants,

In order to ensure safety for all applicants and our staff, and to address the government’s appeal for the social distancing that is needed to combat the spread of COVID-19, the interview arrangement has been cancelled. The modified Selection Criteria is as follow:

(1)   Internal Academic Performance and EDB Rank Order 60%
(2)    Conduct 20%
(3)    Performance in extra-curricular activities, services and awards 20%


Parents of applicants in the Successful Lists for S.1 discretionary places will be notified by letter and phone on 4 May 2022.

The final admission results of S.1 Discretionary Places will be announced by the primary school of the applicants on 26 July 2022.

If parents have any enquiries on the above procedure, please contact the school staff at 2336 1706 during office hours.

In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, our admission interview will be conducted via Google Meet.

The shortlisted candidates will be notified of the online interview arrangements via email. All candidates should read the letter to applicant and the sample guide to interviewees carefully. They are strongly advised to test their Google Meet accounts before the interview day. In addition, they should make sure the camera, headphone and microphone of their computers are working properly. During the interview, if candidates encounter problems with their own devices like the continuous disconnection of the Internet, malfunction of cameras or microphones, no additional interviews will be arranged. In the case of any disputes, we reserve the right of final decision.

Any request for a change in the interview time will NOT be entertained due to the large number of interviewees and we apologize for the inconvenience caused.

鑑於新冠肺炎疫情嚴峻，本校中一入學面試將會以Google Meet視訊會議形式進行。

本校會以電郵向獲選面試的申請人交代網上面試詳情。請申請人仔細閱讀申請人通知書和Google Meet視訊會議指南。本校建議申請人於面試日前測試和熟習Google Meet 視訊會議的功能，並確保電腦的鏡頭、音訊系統和咪高峰運作正常。如面試過程中申請人出現任何問題，如持續離線、鏡頭或咪高峰失效等，將不獲安排再作面試，任何爭議由學校保留最終決定權。

鑑於2019冠狀病毒病疫情仍未穩定，本校決定取消原定於3月19日舉行的「中一自行分配學位面試」，以保障申請人及學校員工的健康。本校亦已徵得學校管理委員會的同意，採用以下的評分準則：

敬啟者：鑑於近日 2019 冠狀病毒病疫情十分嚴峻，全港巿民亦須於三月份參與強制核酸檢測，本校決定取消原定於本年度3月19日舉行之「中一自行分配學位申請面試」。所有申請人須要呈交兩段錄像短片供校方評核。

申請人須在3月15日下午5時或以前提交其錄像短片以取代面試。 本校將於3月4日寄出通知函予申請人，並會在3月4日透過申請表上提供的電郵向申請人發放相關短片製作及呈交指示。若家長/監護人於3月4日下午2時後仍未接獲電郵，請電郵[email protected] 與本校職員聯絡。
 
修訂評分標準

本校將按以下經法團校董會批准之修訂準則錄取本年度之申請者：

操行 30%
呈交的錄像 30%

申請者在課外活動有出色表現或會獲得不多於總分數百份之十的額外分數。

如欲提交相關文件，請於3月15日(根據郵戮日期)或以前遞交到本校校務處(辦公時間為星期一至五上午9時-下午12時30分及下午2時-5時，星期六為上午9時-下午12時30分)或郵寄到迦密中學(九龍何文田忠孝街55號)， 為免延誤，請確保郵資充足。文件可包括：

課外活動紀錄、證書或獎狀影印本；

其他供學校參閱的有關資料

呈交文件必須註明申請人姓名及申請編號 (2022-23-S1-XXX)。

Updates on 2022-2023 Form One Admission 

In view of the latest situation of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the Education Bureau has announced that schools will not resume classes until after the Easter holidays. Interviews for F1 Admission will therefore be conducted online via Zoom on 12 March 2022. An interview invitation will be sent by post and emailed to all applicants via the email account provided in your e-portfolio in January 2022 (check your spam folder if necessary). Please call the school office at 2576 1692 in case you have not received the invitation by 10 March 2022. Please also note that applicants who have not submitted their e-portfolios in January have been disqualified from the interview.

2022-2023年中一入學申請的更新通告

因應教育局將2021/22學年中一派位的工作順延，本校原定於3月12日舉行之口試將延至4月15日（星期五）以網上形式進行。本校已於3月4日(星期五）寄出信件予所有申請人。由於郵遞或會因疫情有所延誤，如家長於3月15日（星期二）仍未收到信件，請與學校聯絡（2697 5566)。

With the postponement of the work of the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System in the 2021/22 school year by the EDB, our school has rescheduled the Chinese and English oral assessments to April 15, 2022 (Friday). Letters were sent out on March 4, 2022 (Friday) to notify all applicants of their eligibility for the online oral assessments. As the present epidemic situation may delay postal service, parents are kindly requested to contact the school on 2697 5566 in case they do not receive the letter by March 15, 2022 (Tuesday).
