九龍塘的名牌幼稚園：根德園出名課程艱深；基督堂幼稚園讀書的學生，個個英文琅琅上口；而國際英文幼稚園（St. Catherine's）中英並重。

要求兩歲的香港小孩，用英語跟五十多歲的澳洲籍女校長單獨面試，對他們來說，未免太沉重了，但這僅是要考入基督堂幼稚園的第一步。每年十一月，總有近千家長大排長龍，誓要為子女求得學位。那些入學申請表，每份收二十元，但家長都寧可多買幾份，只是因為怕填錯字要塗白油，深恐給校方留下壞印象。

Thank you for your information.   

We being parents should keep on exploring and learning more so as to be more familiar with the personality and characters of our children.  Then we could find a school that is keeping with his/her own progress and suits him the best.  Some children are eager to learn more while some are born to be more sportive or sociable.  That's the difference!

I know a student from CCKG, she is very clever, nice and very willling to read and learn, she reads a lot of books and also play a lot with others.
They do not like book-worm..
By the way, two years kids speaking fluent English is not uncommon. A lot of kids fom my kid's KG speak fluent English in K1 and read simple English books.
K2 students can read English books of 10-20 pages.

A KG in island side.
Kid lthe earns languages fast, they can learn as many as conditions allowed :
If the father speaks English ( only English )
If the mother speaks only Chinese,
and if the grandfather speaks Japanese or
the grnadmother speaks French :
The kid can speak all the four languages fluently, but do not exchange the roles...
The childrean possess incredible ability in language when they are young.
