眾說紛紜, 莫衷一是! 很難決定, 是嗎?

只能說自己的情況. 小朋友 12 月出生, 亦讓其作 "大的". K1 找了一所附近 的幼稚園 來讀, 跟著的一年, 報了一所較遠的心儀幼稚園. 能夠入讀跟讀多了一年有沒有關係卻不知道 (亦永遠不會知道).

除了相信 "大的" 較成熟外, 亦想讓其及早 與其他小朋友 玩, 過其群體活動.

其實, 也不知道是否真是"大的"好一些, 亦絕對相信有人少少年紀便大學畢業. 個人最大的考慮是--輸不起!! 我那個跟不上的話, 我怎麼辦? 小孩子怎麼算? 當然, 不是"大的" 便一定此後順利, 但排除一個潛在風險, 總覺得是值得的.

以我本人經驗, 如報直資或私校, 大仔會著數很多, 這麼小年紀, 差一年真的差很多, 如不是要仔女早些出來工作, 我一定留多一年或遲些入學. 但如讀資助學校就無所謂, 因為同樣是10分.

我個囡是dec出世的, 重要係好後好後個一日, 所以我決定比佢於K2 repeat，那時有這個決定是因為我去學校做義工時，看到囡囡真的什麼都比同學慢，亦沒有其他同學般主動和有自信，總是躲在一旁，就算我去講故事都是這樣。那年是第一年K2，最後同老師商量，老師亦提到大囡考私校會著數ｄ，因為年頭年尾一後都有差別，當然也會有例外，最後決定repeat　K2。

今年囡囡K3，我的決定非常正確，她在課室的表現比第一年讀K2很不同，主動發言，亦較以前有自信，會想小做小leader，我覺得最大的得著是她比以前更有自信，這對未來學習是很重要的。

K2比K3 repeat好些，因K3較有壓力，對於細ｂ來說，第一年就已很吃力，如果令他失去興趣就慘，所以最好K2repeat。

I have no experience, but I have a doctor friend ( he is professor) said study prove that delay younger child to school is better to push them earlier to school because it can help them to build confidence.  Because few months cause big difference for child.

Even "有得泊車" , this only for 3 years. Should you really put it as one of the point you need to consider? From the points mentioned in your 3 choices, I think your husband's idea is most important to you.

I think the point is which banding primary you perfer to ? Even a big kid also never be "clever "enough in a high banding school. So what happens to a small kid? (I mean in a high banding school)

If I were you, I will let my son repeat K1.
始終細ｂ係差ｄ. 有小學直上 is much better.  Don't you agree?

My son was born late 2000, and I let him study K1 a year later. I found I made a right decision. He can cope with K3 very well. The most important is lesser applicants for P1.

同意大仔是好好多。由其是在幼園的時候特別表現出來。基楚打好的到小學時成果便出現。

我覺得做細仔個小朋友同家長都會辛苦d,我會選擇repeat k.3 rather than repeat k.1,因為k.3會多野學d同埋深d.

我小朋友10月中, 我也給讀多一年K1 , 好好多, 自信心唔同矖, 今年考小學特別有利. 報了8間, 已有6間收了他! 現在只等DBSPD 2 interview 結果. 可慢慢選!

My experience.

My daughter was born at the end of 2000 and I was also wondering whether to let her repeat K3 at this time last year. At the end, I decided to let her go P.1 because she caught up quite well in K3.

Now she's in P.1.  She can manage her school work and she was selected as the monitor in the class. But P.1 is really a big gap from KG and there was a harsh time at the first 2-3 months. And she had much less time for play, too. Luckily her Chinese reading and writing was quite good. And she can manage the dictation but it's difficult for the English stuff.

I'm considering for my younger daughter to repeat K1/K2, just to let her have a longer and happier childhood and easier school life in the first few years in primary school. I think that's worthwhile. There is no hurry!

If your kid's development is slower than majority of the class and you are lucky enough to have the choice to repeat or not. That's not a bad option.

One more thing, please note that repeating K1/K2 is much better than K3. In K3, the teacher will be talking about Primary school life very often and the child might feel strange.

其實我都覺得大仔好啲,不過已太遲因我仔已p.1但係我當年完全無想到這一點 好蠢!!!好彩仔無太大問題,只層經說佢自己係最細,好想做哥哥,不過我如果當年細心啲都必定會比仔做大仔,信心差好遠 不過老公話兒孫自有兒孫福,叫我唔好想太多

我仔仔都係2000年尾出世，由k1開始我己經想佢重讀，每年都問老師及身邊的人意見，他們都說仔仔跟得幾好，祗是堂上做功課比較慢，這些都是小問題，真的不用浪費一年時間。其實除了小肌肉未協調外，他還欠缺自信，到了上年k3臨交表前的一星期，我終於和老公有了共識決定重讀k3，對我們來說重讀k3不是浪費了一年，是給我們多一點時間準備
，打好基礎，希望上小學可以輕鬆d，有佢自己玩ge時間。他現在也很享受他的幼稚園生活
