If it really takes 6 month , your child earliest baptism will be May/June 07 while the application for phase 1 for 08 P1 is Sept.07. Timing wise this will work.

Also this 5 point is quite critical and only useful in phase 1. It worked for me and got my daughter's P1 placement in Phase1 with 20 points, thank god.

But, pls do not baptise your child just for sake for this 5 point. Ask yourself if you really want your child to live with the religon for rest of her/his life. This is a life time decision.
