最近到Think打算為囡囡報讀下年Nursery, 方知原來已搬往新港城五期, 又看見Think 討論區實在太長, 所以不如在此另開新版面, 觀迎有興趣報Think (MOS)或已是Think的學生家長到此交流.

Think 現址前身為綠茵分校, 有無人知道Think與綠茵的分別?

我現在正考慮二者選其一, 希望讓囡囡多些接觸英文, 若有小朋友曾讀這兩間的家長, 歡迎分享經驗.

My elder daugher now is 6 year old before nusery study in greenfiled is good but english not enough as didn't have foreigner teacher in greenfield.

For the think, I also want to know more detail as my younger daughter now 1 years old. I also want to planning where she go is better.

Greenfield - Not enough english
Think - I didn't have information
Boxhill - Is good but look expensive.

Please let me know also.

My friend's little girl was studied in THINK and go straight to SJS.

The receiptionst has showed me the data of K2 to IS.  4 to ESF, 4 to other ISs, most of them go to local stream.

Some comments said BOxhill is designed for IS primary, but expensive.

地址: THINK在新港城五期(以前在雅濤居), 綠茵在馬鞍山中心
半日制學費: THINK約 3000, 綠茵 約 2600
外籍老師: THINK較多, 綠茵不少為華籍NATIVE SPEAKER
雙語班: THINK第一年主要用母語, 之後一半半; 綠茵一開始一半半
國際班: THINK有, 綠茵今年才開
報名來年入學: THINK10月開始, 綠茵9月開始 (兩間皆需面試)
校舍:THINK較新, 綠茵較大, 不過THINK中央操場為露天, 會日曬雨淋
普通話: 兩間都有得學, THINK最後一年之中文全用普通話教
課程內容: 不太清楚
課程深淺: 不太清楚
學習氣氛: 不太清楚
紀律秩序: 不太清楚
教師流失情況: 不太清楚
教學法: 不太清楚
老師對學生的關顧: 不太清楚
升學: 不太清楚

I am also comparing THINK with BOXHILL recently.  Got some background info as follow:

The monthly school fee for 1/2 day nursery class for THINK is $3,000 while BOXHILL is HK$3,600 respectively.

And BOXHILL will have their open day on 28 Oct.  We can go and see the environment before we made the decision and application in Nov.  While THINK don't have open day so far, we can call to make appointment for visit.

但有時的summer class的老師未必一定係平時教授的老師來的。

但如果你有要求，亦想日後報讀國際小學的話，那可能就像其他家長一樣於小朋友稍大的時間幫他轉校去一間真正的國際幼稚園就讀去加強英文理解聽讀的水平。

Open day for "Think-MOS" Had been held on 5 August 06, so you miss the change but you may discuss with headmistress to arrange the visit after school.

Apart from BoxHill and Think, any other "real" IS kinder in MOS?

I think quite limited choice of IS kinder in MOS.  You better to consider in Kowloon Tong.  Only take around 45 mins by school from MOS.

I agreed but you need to consider your kid is too young, the IS kinder around the living area should be better for mama to take care of the kid.

Agreed with Murrychan that sending a 2 years old kid to Kln Tong for nursery is too far away.  So I am considering to have nursery at MOS and then K1 at Kln Tong later.

Why you consider to have nursery at MOS and then K1 (at Think or other IS kinder) at Kln Tong later? and why do you be consider finish the kindergarten at MOS then P1 at Kln Tong?
