灣仔聖約瑟vs聖保羅男校，點揀？

根據坊間升讀小一天書，聖保羅男校中學收取小學當中Band 1 及Band 2學生，約佔全數70%。

未呀！唉，心儀St. Paul Boys Primary ，但對中學頗有保留。近年不見它在學術或聯校比賽中有何特出表現。我總不能僅信它150年老店和一班名人舊校友。

各位，可有其中學的近況資料。

I have checked “明報06/07 升小選校全攻略”, “小學概覽” and school website of St. Paul’s College Primary School and St. Paul’s College, I found the following points:

1. St. Paul’s College Primary School does not reveal the performance of their P6 student, such as the percentage of student to be selected by band one secondary school and English school.
2. St. Paul’s College does not reveal the performance of their F7 student, such as the percentage of student to be selected by Universities.
3. According to 明報06/07 升小選校全攻略”, five schools with top percentage of Band 1 student in Central Western district are: St Paul Co Ed (65%), St Peter PM (58%), Sacred Heart Canossian (53%), St Peter AM (47%), Catholic Mission School (33%).

Thanks for your valuable information.

St. Paul Boys has become a DSS school from 2003 and so the first batch of students under the scheme are studying primary 3.  Their performance has not been tested.  

The report reflected the result of their students under the former scheme.  Probably, it is the reason to push the school to adopt DSS.

從沒有聽聞過。 St. Jo 有兩位校長：P1-P3一位；P4-P6另一位。 他們曾積極考慮與中學結龍，但中學擔心小學生英文水平，淪為中中。

在直資方面，辦學機構為天主教La Salle 會，以普及教育為己任。 故如St. Jo, La Salle & Wah Yan暫未有轉直資打算。

請問消息來源何來？ 還有，即使轉直資，受惠的是否只是新收學生。
