St Cat, how many kids in one class?

Hi,
can present parents of St Cat tell me how many kids in one class? I heard there could be 40? Quite scary if such a big class.
How about Kentville?

I think they came from different class,
as SC has a lot of clases with 2 campus.

It depends on what size of your classroom, bigger size = more students, smaller size = fewer students.  As you know the building in Kowloon Tong, mostly are "house".  They are old but 實用. 個間格/size 當然有唔同.  so......

其實係咁樣, SC分age編班, 嚮SC chatroom見d細仔班少人d (10幾個), 大仔班人多d但分 (a) & (b) sub-class, 每個 sub-class有自己 classroom, 自己班主任, 2個 classroom 之間有 sliding door, basically係2班黎, 但每天又有d activities會 combine 一齊做, eg. 我仔仔班叫做多人, (a)有20個, (b)有個16個, 我估有d媽咪當 (a) + (b) = 一班咪話30幾人一班囉, 有d就覺得 (a)還 (a)一班, (b)還 (b)一班, 所以先令大家覺得 class size 既 range咁大啫.

as you said if (a)有20個, (b)有個16個, are there 2 class teachers at each sub-class because the number of each sub-class is over 15 ( the Gov't ratio is 1:15)..   and is there 1 net in each sub-class?        i like this kinder but really concern about so great amount of students in sc...      pls share with us

今朝經過九龍塘見有個穿york校服小朋友仲著緊片, 講野未係好正, Gi Lee Goo Loo.??

我有個朋友個仔讀緊ｙｏｒｋ- K2，　佢 K１就要佢寫字ｌａ，仲學哂ａ－ｚ phonics tim!   但佢覺得個仔寫唔到，　冇迫到佢．．．

When I said 每個 sub-class有自己 classroom, 自己班主任, I was only referring to the Chinese class teacher.  In addition, there is a NET and an assistant teacher who goes into the classroom from time to time.  They definitely have not exceeded the permitted teacher/student ratio.  The NET is shared by each sub-class.

to the many parents who replied, thanks a lot.
I think it's the room size and the division according to ages, which makes sense. But my girl is a June girl so I hope she won't be designated a class size which is too big cos really, i don't think the teachers can take care of her well.

As for York, if you don't want your kid to be pressurized, it's ok cos I heard they learn VERY little.

I think the classroom in SC is quite small and we have almost 35 kids in the class.

My son's classroom size is around 150 sq.feet including some furnitures!  My son walks in the classroom like a crab cos no space between the tables.
