No speculation but don’t need to convince you why. Anyway, the only point I want to make is that if one (no matter Esf or non-Esf kinder applicants) is not sucessful in getting an offers for the schools they have chosen on the application form, it’s very highly unlikely that they will be offered a place at another Esf school campus that they had never applied for. ( this is really what the 樓主 is asking for in the 1st place )
In case anybody does get an offer for the school that they haven’t chosen on application, please do share here!! Would be nice to know !

I have no idea what is going to happen with this new "one form" system, but in the past there had been cases of ESF kindergarten pupil being accepted by an out-of-catchment school, a school that was not applied for, because the catchment school was full. These cases were rare, but they did occur.

In a nutshell, ESF do try to accommodate their own kindergarten pupils before the so called "n無" applicants, if it appears some "n無" applicants have jumped the queue, it is probably because they have priorities which are not obvious, e.g. NR, alumni etc.

其實我諗，如港島山頂等無咁熱門的esf小學，自己又有辦法可返學，可以放係5,6位，咁random唔靚都仲有機會。如留空唔填就自求多福

但其實今年有擺RC 嘅都有offer.
有人淨係擺SJS, 得waiting.

If "今年" is referring to this current application year (application started in Sept 2018), it is the first time the "one form" system is implemented and no offers from any ESF school have been made yet.

In that case this new "one form" system proves to be very different. Previously ESF schools (including the 2 PIS) coordinated with each other and announced their Y1 offers on the same day, which was in mid-February.

似乎全部KG學生都pass assessment, 有無offer視乎你點填，如果填左PIS / 不熱門out of zone 做other choices的話，多數有offer. 如果只填一兩間熱門，number又唔靚，就有機會waiting list.

如果一定要入到ESF Y1後備選，就有d機會。
無理由後備放熱門，等於無搷。

Do u mean passing the assessment but put on waitlist? or not passing the assessment and rejected from entering ESF schools?
