Dear cameomom,

Many thanks for referring me to your earlier discussion on CPS. I've already read through them and find them very useful.

My son has finished P1 in an international school and I am thinking of transferring him to one with a more balanced bilingual focus in the coming school year. As understood from your earlier discussion, CPS seems to be a very good choice for me.  

Indeed, my son has been arranged to take an admission test in August at CPS for entering into its P2 in SY 2005-6. CPS advises that my son will be tested against the knowledge he is supposed to learn in the 2nd term of P1. Frankly I have no idea on how to prepare my son for the test. Would you have any information about the admission test to share with me please?

I know that your baby is very smart. She was admitted to P1 by some other famous primary schools like 陳守仁 & 蔡繼有 but finally you chose CPS. Indeed 陳守仁 & 蔡繼有 are also on my list. Could you please share with me your reasons for choosing CPS finally?

Sorry for being for late to answer your questions.

I don't have any idea of the admission test.
But from the past year worksheets(P.1), I don't think the syllabus is difficult.

As I had discussed, I chose CPS because:
1. 4 of my friends did
2. its reputation is good
3. I believe in their missions
4. its has longer history in running active learning
5. the other schools are too new for me
