Interesting. There is only 1 full fee payer and the average score is 33? That can't be right?!

The more bizzare a thing is, the less mysterious it proves to be.

It's interesting to see this school has always been separating out the average score of HK students from the rest so that its results look brighter. Maybe other IS can follow suit so that their average scores can be seemingly higher.

Since they have a new head, they have shifted their preference when admitting students from Hong Kong: i.e., the type of students in Hong Kong they prefer. No, I did not presume nor did I say that from what I observed. He made it clear at one of the talks at an open day. I have always wanted to see how the overall average (hong kong students) would turn out as time goes by.

Seems like the Hong Kong students results were pretty stable over time. The drop in overseas students results were more obvious. By the way, what is the change in the preference of Hong Kong students?

I think if you apply from overseas, it is much more easier to get in. The requirement is lower for overseas application and maybe this is the reason they separate the result.

據我所知，ESF是容許學生選擇BTEC或IBDP,應該有部分學生是選修BTEC的。CKY只提供IBDP，IGCSE成績達標的學生就可以留低讀IB。

關於point 2:
我朋友在GSIS, 説就算本地神校yr 7轉去的，英文level都比較低，他們其他很多科也會補習，而且本身就是喜歡補習，但完全不存在他們成績特別好足以拉高學校平均分，事實最top 的students 也是小學升上去的。
