The detailed analysis will be disclosed in school profile, but not all schools will show the profiles in their websites.

As parents, I saw the detail breakdowns of last year via Managebag, but not in the website.

我是新手媽媽，最近才開始看這些數字。關於ISF, 有否擔心學生一多，IB成績便很難維持呢？不知道有沒有ISF的家長可以說一說稍低年級學生的上課情況或進度是否滿意？謝謝。

我通常睇45分係為八卦，主力睇平均分加40以上%，同埋學校有冇篩選學生讀IB

It is impossible to answer these hypothetical questions. Even if there is an answer, it would just be a guess? I think you can look at the other threads here about the school

其実某程度篩選是需要的、好似ＥＳＦ、都有ＩＢ同ＢＴＥＣＨ之分、如果学生真係讀吾到ＩＢ，讀ＢＴＥＣＨ也応該的。

其實個別學校有沒有篩選學生讀IB在這些數據也不一定能真實地反映出來的。我的朋友是CIS的畢業生（約七年前畢業），他說學校一直都會向不達標的學生寫信勸退他們的，信的內容大概是指經觀察後覺得那些學生不適合讀IB課程，而學校又沒有其他課程給他們選擇，退學是唯一的出路。我的朋友一直也很害怕會收到這封信，因為當年的他是year 7時在本地名校轉過去的，轉過去之後一直很不適應國際學校的教學方法因而成績一直都不理想。朋友幸好最終也沒有收到這封信，不過最終他的IB成績真的不是太好，說自己拉低了學校的整體成績。簡單來說，我的意思是不達標的學生可能已一早被學校篩選出來了，大家看到的成績可能已經是經多年挑選過的學生的成績。

所有數據也有參考價值，也衷心多謝HKTHK對大家的貢獻。個人認為家長們也不需太在意這些數據，學校背後的教學理念或手法(例如ESF有教無類)可直接影響其整體學生成績，學校的教學質素也不是唯一的影響因素。我總覺得好的學校或可幫你拿B/B+的成績，但拿A的學生一定是因為個人的努力/天份，跟學校的質素並不一定有關係。

請不要誤會我對CIS不滿，相反我真心認為學校有很多長處優點。我的小朋友是在CIS的reserve list上的，正等待有適合空缺時補上。

Totally agreed.

I have 2 friends whose son and daughter were advised to leave CIS because they would have better development if they could study non IB course. It was about 7 to 8 years ago.

I have another good friend whose daughter studied at a top top top local school. After completion of F.3, she was advised to leave the school because she should have no prospect if she opted to stay at the school. Eventually, my friend arranged his daughter to study at a boarding school in UK. Two years later she took the GCSE and scored 12A*. Eventually she graduated from Cambridge with 1st class honor plus a master degree. Now she is a professional.

CIS and GSIS都會勸退「追不上」的學生的，ESF未聽過，亦不會谷學生, 所以ESF的成績大家都收貨。

Yes, ESF will suggest them to take BTEC instead of IBDP.

For me, it's more or less the same reasons.

諗深啲，依啲學校啲家長背景非富則貴，理應有強大資源補到學生唔掂都補到掂，可參考下影帝張家輝個囡有幾多補習先生。其實非必要都唔會勸退學生的，被勸退學生相信都"唔係好掂"（指達唔到學校要求）.
但對學生來講，及早知道自己＂考試＂能力水平未尚不是好事。可能係其他學校發揮得更好。

有些學生也是虛不受補的，不適合就是不適合。我那位一直擔心被學校勸退的朋友雖然自覺成績差，最後入大學時手上都有幾個offer，當中包括英國大學的醫科及法律系。可想而知在他眼中學校的要求可能不是你我可想像的要求。

有幾個朋友的仔女剛進了GSIS，他們也不是大富大貴的人家，但一致的是他們對子女學習的要求是非常嚴格的。各有前因莫羨人。

CIS 肯定睇家長背景，特別係家長教育背景。GSIS 以成绩輪英雄，如非從GSIS 小學或幼稚園培養上，中途入得去，家長強大支援不下於本土神校家長。

我是前GSIS 家長，家境中上，不是大富之家，也不是專業人士。自問對孩子的學業也不太嚴謹。
我同意有些小朋友是虛不受補的，不愛讀書的你怎迫怎補也沒用。相反，愛讀書的你不用迫他也會成績好！所以我不會催谷，孩子想讀甚麼科也由他自己選擇。
我兒子離開GSIS 其中一個原因是他不想考IB, 認為A level 比較適合他。IB 是一個很好也很challenging 的課程，不是所有孩子都應付得來或喜歡的。
