Yes Kent is a good place to live as location is near to London and weather is warmer.
Heard that it is an area with many good schools too

Kent county has the most grammer schools (free state selective schools) in the UK, so many young families moves to Kent for this reason plus property price compared to London is much cheaper and not far from London.

Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire has been recently voted by the middle class to be the best place to live in the UK.

Can you share the school info?

It is Tonbridge School. You can find most of the info on their website. Or you can talk to agents like Academic Asia and Dolphin, both recommended Tonbridge to my son.
