Ian - 有入學事請教

Hi Ian,

一路見到你給予各家長意見, 覺得好中肯同參考性.    今次到我有些煩惱, 希望您給予指點 :

首先, 我有兩女, 一個3 歲 , 一個8個月.

1/  大女 將於9 月入聖心K1, 我以前聖心秘書商科畢業, 對她幾年後叩門聖小津校有無幫助 ?
     (因2個小朋友, 想先考慮津校)

2/  細女 上年11月尾出生, 應該比佢做細細B (即2歲9月讀 K1) 定 大大B (即3歲9月讀 K1) ?   
     因龍B, 競爭一定好犀利.    (雖然聖幼家姐讀緊,應該有分加)

路過搭訕幾句, 希望Ian 唔好介意.

1) 讀過聖心商科對入津小有沒有幫助, 我估計只有好少幫助, 最重要是小朋友是聖幼學生.  小朋友是聖幼學生對叩門是最緊要.

2)  你的長女是讀聖幼, 咁兩年後年尾細女亦要考幼稚園, 嗰時大女應該時K3 上學期,  而你是聖心商科畢業, 兩者加埋應有少少分加, 但面試表現都好重要, 因為呢幾年爭崩頭, 有你這樣條件的人大有人在... 小朋友仲係幾個月大, 到時先算. 有人收咪做細女, 如果冇人收, 想唔做大女都唔都...  

個人意見, 無謂為做大囡去留一年, 大細囡在學業上的分別在小一下學期急速收窄. 我囡在小學部讀了幾年, 親眼見好多細囡都讀得好 fit, 最緊要是家長配合學校課程, 唔好 hea.

我囡讀下午校.  你小朋友放完暑假先讀K1, 細嗰件得幾個月大, 唔需要咁早煩, 幾個月大你都做唔到啲吔嘢, 等大女享受幼稚園生活先啦.  間幼稚園好happy, 好好玩.

Sorry that I missed your post since I don't come in to check the forum often anymore these days.

For (1), you being graduated from SH School of Commerce is not relevant at all in the consideration on the point system for the application of SHCS in the Discretionary Places stage.

For (2), you should simply apply on the earlier year and be considered rather than giving up the chance and wait for the next year when your young one could then be possibly considered too "mature" for K1.

Hope this help and hope your daughter enjoy as the kindergarten has commenced.
