This is not surprising.

I encountered this question > 3 times.

Both involve famous and non-famous estate kindergartens.

For famous kindergartens, the reason is obvious.

For non-famous estate kindergartens, probably they need to know the income to see whether government subsidy for the family is needed? Not very sure.

我個女讀嗰間Nursery都要填月薪架, 不過真係...如果填太多就唔收, 因為社署監管, 我都報細數

Some estate kinder managed by NGO will consider their mission as serving the community.

If you earn $200000 a month, I guess they may not favour your child for 2 reasons:
1. You are probably not the sector of the community most in need to help for "whole-day" class. The aim of whole day class of these schools are mainly to take of children whose parents are working and not much money to employ a maid at home to take care of children.
2. It is natural to think that you apply this kinder simply for "back-up". You have lots of choice for private kinder with very high income.

我估計唔係岐視. 我都見到有間唔係好出名有問,見佢網上有比人報政府資助既地方. 估計係報資助用.
如果唔報資助, 相信大何因私穩原因唔寫.

心水係大圍/沙田? 我好似見到明愛會有影響, 其他我相信係大細仔問題多啲, 因為我囡囡(細b)都有pn 收插班, 我哋都照報入息, 不過就冇200000咁多la

我手上有兩張form, 新翠/隆亨嘅N班，一間要tick 收入 range，一間要寫.. 總收入
