Just want to know if there's any specification on school bag by the school?  If no, any good recommendations?  Pls advise, thanks.

I guess you (and we) can ask them on 25/6.  I don't think primary students' school bags need to have the same specifications - perhaps a sign of advancement from kindergarten. :)

Pls note that there is no special requirement. Boys wear different types e.g. Zeven, SPI, Dr. Kong and etc.  My elder son uses Zeven but it seems to be too big for my younger son.

Thanks for your reply!  My son is small in size and wonder which brand is good for him.

I read another thread in the BK forum and one parent recommended a kind of school bag costing as much as $1,000.  Does it have to be that expensive if I just want one with reasonable quality, in terms of weight and durability?  

Some BK parents have also said that, in order to have more choices, we should buy one before summer vacation starts, otherwise the good ones will be sold out.  Any ideas?

Another silly question is, which places have a higher concentration of shops selling school bags?  Department stores or dedicated shops?

My wife and I know little about school bags, so anyone offering advice here will be much appreciated.

I remember that some BK parents said that many types are available at Sogo.  It's better for you to go with your son to let him try it.  I know that Dr. Kong should be quite heavy. Many boys use SPI (relatively cheaper) and Zeven(bigger, more expensive and durable).

聽聞其他學校的註冊日會有SPI的COUNTER(而且會有DISCOUNT),會唔會25號那天都SPI的COUNTER可以讓我們選購?

我係銅鑼灣SOGO睇過SPI同LEGO的書包,兩款都好似好重.

也有人推薦CHIROPAK書包,不過款式就比較老套.
