I enquired about their A level programme last year in August, for admissions to the coming academic year, 2011-2012. Since the situation is quite special and complicated, I sent a long e-mail to the principal directly. What I got at last was a reply with only two lines, saying I should contact the school next year and some sarcastic comments that show no understanding of the situation that I explained at all. But since I still got some questions, I sent him another e-mail despite his apathy. His reply was still, that I should contact the school again next year, showing no interest nor enthusiasm in, pretty much, real education to students.
And the principal doesn't know the format of formal/informal letters at all. He simply started his e-mails with his two lines of context, and signed his name right under. I felt really irrespected, and to some extent, insulted for his rudeness.
Perhaps I would have expected such e-mail from principals of intl' schools of good reputation and vigorous competition, but definitely not schools like KIS. |
