完全兩回事喎. TL/RHS/St Paul Church gave enough space for kids to play toys or dance, but SH did not. SH just offered seats for watching video and seemed kids were required to stay still most of the time. In addition, it was no use to arrive at the school early, you had to wait until the stated time was called.

I don't blame the school for what I've told, as I always say, interviews conducted in a way helps the school to choose their right candidates.

1. Many schools also have no playgroud opened for warming up the kids.
e.g. true light Caine Road, St Paul Kindergarten, St Catherine, Kenville, HKPS, Rosaryhill, ST Paul Church, etc

i have the same feeling.  We had interview in early morning and I saw the 1st post asking the interview questions.  I didn't post as I want to be fair.  I was a bit upset to see someone disclosing the questions especially the one on the cabbage and tomato and I was hoping SH would change show other vegetables in the later interview.  

Maybe the mother/father thought that it is not a big deal to disclose as she/he is generous or SH is not really his/her 1st choice.   I do believe that the teachers do not mainly look for right answers but the kid's response and the teacher won't count on the correctness of a single question to choose students.  

However,  I do believe if an applicant can answer a question which most of the other applicants could not answer, the teacher will be impressed.

Anyway, we all knew that life is full of unfairness.... that's life and we ought to accept.

When you've read this thread from the beginning, you would know that the interview questions were disclosed (asking the tomatoes, chinese cabbage) in the morning of the interview date by one mom in BK ...

我相信這是要家長須要顧及公平起見, 個人自律問題, 並非學校問題, 如果學校每節都轉topic, 大家家長又會比較, 點解呢d咁深, 呢d又咁淺, 加上學校要in咁多人, 我相信仲要安排不同topic都好困難, 同埋個人覺得, 唔開放playground是明智, 一來秩序問題, 小朋友玩又會有好多爭執, 二來小朋友玩到"倉"晒, 好似真光, 我個女向playground玩到唔想入去interview,  所以我覺得interview就interview, 唔好有咁多嘢影響個小朋友.

Agree! Everyone has different points of view, it is hard to judge which way is the most fair. Also, no matter how good of the school, it is really hard to make everyone satisfied! Luck plays important role in this game, some kids need to warm up, so no playground opened for those slow heat kids are definitely affected, but it may good for those energetic kids as they might refuse to get into the interview room when they are playing!

Anyway, the game is over, we should take it easy and don't be too focus on the success or not! As this is the game just started of our little one's life, we still have chance to make it success even we lose this interview game!

The marking scheme should possess 8-10 items and ask the teacher to mark.

E.g. eye-contact, politeness, speech ability, ability to say thank you, etc. (each mark 1-5 for example just like our appraisals .

I saw in some schools the marking paper and they are like that.

So maybe the school does not care about the leakage of questions. And the ability to answer that questions does not count so much.

Totally agree what u said. Same things happened in another interview- disclosing questions when there is another batch held next week. Luckily, the school arranged two separate questions and the posted parent was considerate that she edited her post after I raised my concerns. I think St Paul way may be the best as no adults involved so no one can discuss the interview questions for fairness.

年年都有人講聖心interview的問題...
我上兩年都有in過, 我覺得老師都有禮貌, 但感觀同環境唔好, 又知道聖心老師流失得快...所以最後都冇選擇讀...

但我覺得唔應該用老師interivew的態度/大圍in個時的感覺而令你選擇/唔選擇 讀唔讀聖心, 因為一間好學校唔係取決在interview, 而係學校的理念是否與你一致, 是否實行到理念...

n年前in過一間interview時好好禮貌, 環境又新又靚的幼稚園, 最終咪中左蕉...!

想請問online result 係咪只有application number? 我唔見左張面試證呀!!

I asked the teacher at the interview and she answered both the name and application number would be posted, in case some applicants had the same name.

The practice in the past is to put both applicants' name and number on the web for result announcement.

However, due to privacy protection, the applicants' name may not be shown starting from this year.  If you have lose the slip, then you will have to call the office to check.

In previous practice, did the parents receive letters on the day before posting the results in the web? If so, no need to bother the application #.
SH mentioned that the result will be posted on 15/2, just think if it meant "14/2 midnight to 15/2" or "15/2 9 a.m".

Actually I made a reply similar to this on another thread.

The letters are normally posted before February 15th (not sure with this year though).  So, the letters should be received by the parents on 15th the earliest.  Of course, this is depends on the HK postal services on how soon they can delivered the mails!

You are welcome.  In case you are really anxious, you can still call the kindergarten office to ask for their help (but please be considerate not to ask too much since the staff will be so busy answering calls....) on the 15th.
