I live in Kowloon Tong and would like to apply for BH N1.

Would the fact that I live in Kowloon side affect my chance of getting into it?

Also is it too late to apply now for 2011 September entrance?

Hi szechang,
How old is your baby now?
Basically, all kids have to attend a Head-Start programme when they are around 1.5 years old, the school will then choose a bunch of kids from this Head-Start programto join the Early Learning Programme which will start when the kids are around 2 years old. If your baby is already 1, guess it might be a bit late to apply BHNS now, usually parents apply BHNS when their baby is a few months old.

My baby was born in Dec2008, so now he is 1yr 8mth old already. But I would want him to be "big boy" in the class i.e. he should join PN in Sept 2011.

In which month of the year does the "Head-Start programme" begin?

My boy was also born in late 2008. He will join the Head Start Programme next month as a big boy. You'd better give them a call asap.

I have applied to PN directly because the head start program has a long waiting list. Does it mean that my chance is really slim?

Also some chats mentioned "early learning program". What is that?

Very confused....

My kid was born in Apr 2008. Last year about Nov 09, I called the school whether I can apply their pre-nursery. They asked me to apply first (with the application fee). Then I have received acknowlegement of application form quickly.
However, until Apr 2010, I got no news from them any interview as some interviews have been arranged to candidates. I called them, they replied no interview can be granted as I was too late application.
