She is studying P5 at St Paul's Convent.

You can still go ahead and apply.  Since your daughter is in Cat 2, and not from an ESF primary, the chances of getting a place for Fall 2010 is pretty slim.  However, if she passes the interview and entrance test, they would put her on waitlist.  Children come and go during the year, she may be able to start before she goes to Secondary school in the local school system.

Or... you can still apply and when spaces become available, defer entry till Sept of Year 8.  It may be a safer choice.

國際學校的取錄唔到你揀, 唔係話 "我唔想插班" 就會比你下年入. "排隊" 排到你, 你就要黎讀,  學位係唔會等你的, 你唔黎讀? 大把人等緊, 有時 6 月有人走, 都會叫你轉過黎讀一個月.
不過, 你報左名先啦, 收左你先諗啦.
