有無上過 Kingston 1year class 的 parent?

請問有無 parent 你的bb/小朋友讀過 or 讀緊 Kingston 的 1-year class.

我係 first-time parent, 有好多問題想問 :
(1) Year 1 class 係 Waterloo Road 定係 Cumberland Road campus 上?
(2) Campus 細唔細, 有 outdoor playground 嗎?
(3) Base on your experience, 老師係咪個個都有愛心? (我個人 belief 係老師有 heart 先可以令小朋友愉快學習)
(4) 1-year class 會唔會已經可以引導小朋友的 discipline training?
(5) 要一個唔夠 1 歲的 baby 上 2.5 hours, 佢哋會唔會扭計?
(6) Teacher-student ratio is 1:8 (according to the brochure), 我想問係咪一班只有8個 bb, 定係 16 個 bb but 兩個 teachers一班?
(7) 如果陪bb上堂的大人唔識 English 同 Mandarin 會唔會有困難?
(8) 班內係咪大多數都係香港人, 多唔多外籍小朋友呢?

唔好意思, 有咁多 question, 不過真的好想聽吓各家長意見先 confirm 比 admission fee.

Let me try to answer your questions:

(1) Year 1 class 係 Waterloo Road 定係 Cumberland Road campus 上? --> Cumberland Road (& Waterloo Road is their primary section)
(2) Campus 細唔細, 有 outdoor playground 嗎? --> It depends on your standard, personally I feel it's bigger than Tutor Time (at Dorset Road) & feel just right for small number of students. It has outdoor playground.
(3) Base on your experience, 老師係咪個個都有愛心? (我個人 belief 係老師有 heart 先可以令小朋友愉快學習) --> Based on my experience, the answer is yes.  Comparable to Tutor Time (at Dorset Road) & better than Victoria HMT.
(4) 1-year class 會唔會已經可以引導小朋友的 discipline training? --> What level of disciplinary training you're looking for?  Since it's a group/class, there must be certain level of disciplines to follow e.g. during snack time, queue up for hand washing, story time, etc.  Of course, you cannot expect a 1-year-old kid can be very focus.
(5) 要一個唔夠 1 歲的 baby 上 2.5 hours, 佢哋會唔會扭計?  --> Yes, it's normal.
(6) Teacher-student ratio is 1:8 (according to the brochure), 我想問係咪一班只有8個 bb, 定係 16 個 bb but 兩個 teachers一班? --> class definition is 16 BB, but usually 1 teacher takes care 8 BBs during lessons e.g. 1 PTH teacher looks after 8 BBs & 1 native Eng takes care another 8 BBs and then they switch. During snack time & circle time, 2 teachers + 1 assistant to look after all 16 BBs.
(7) 如果陪bb上堂的大人唔識 English 同 Mandarin 會唔會有困難? --> What kind of problem you're thinking?  My helper is Indonesian who doesn't speak Eng or PTH. She just sits there & take care my son not to disturb others. For routines, she's able to follow after few days from observations e.g. what's next activity. In case she has any question/problem, she can check out later with the Mandarin teacher who can speak little cantonese.
(8) 班內係咪大多數都係香港人, 多唔多外籍小朋友呢? --> yes, most are HK people, sometimes have white kids (not many "dark" kids like Indian, Pakistan) & I do not aware any Mainland kids.

My daugther also went to Kingston before and I also think the teachers are all very good - nice and professional.  In 1 year-old class, they have breaks in between, and I think the time share among circle time, indoor and outdoor play, snack time are just right
