Yesterday received a note saying the English teacher has quit. This is already 4th teacher that quit in four months.

不知學校發生了什麼?

I'm wondering why the teachers (2 x English teachers, 1 x NC, 2 x LK teachers) left in the middle of academic year?

I think it is possibly related to the management!! did anybody talk to the principal about that??
one of my friend who taught kindergarten also said their turnover rate is high due to heavy workload!!

I am sure the workload is a factor since it is indeed a lot of works to do in SHCK for the teachers.

However, for a kindergarten to accept more new ideas and improvement, it will translate to a lot of extra efforts. For some teachers which may not agree with the philosophy in total and certainly in other kindergartens will require less efforts, then it will create turnover naturally.

I guess it is important for the management to obtain the support from the teachers fully before pushing for new policy. The intention to improve is not bad at all, and I am sure these are all done for the children.

i think teacher is important to the children. they should deal with the problem as soon as possible!!

我都知道那些老師走了, 我不知道老師辭職的原因, 不過如果真是以workload的理由而走的老師....我祝福她們....以一家這麼有名的學校來說....她們離開是對雙方都好....

我自己都是教書的(雖然不是正統的老師), 我認為如果辦學的當教育是生意, 一定不會成功.....同樣地, 如果教書的當教書是打份工, 亦一定做得不好....

做教育的一定要有理想....應處處以學生著想....沒有犧牲的精神...服務的心態....正直的立場...根本不可能做個好老師....

就我所見, 我很慶幸自己女兒讀的一班的老師非常專業, 非常有愛心....我正打算寫信給校長郭修女表揚她們....

亦向其他盡心盡力教好我們的孩子的聖心幼稚園老師致敬! 這是一家令我非常滿意的幼稚園.....

非常同意, 做教育一定要以學生為大前題, 立場要明確, 一定要視教育是使命。

非常同意，不過會唔會佢地d教師也經犧牲左好多，不單係時間，仲有好多其他野?d教師、學校成日話d親子時間對小朋友有幾重要，但教師自己往往就將呢d時間奉獻晒比學校，而自己一d親子時間也沒有。

我聽講聖心有好多活動，會唔會都係原因之一?
