母語為廣東語的小孩讀英普班幼稚園會否有問題?

我女兒兩歲多, 她現在都有很多說話, 家庭是廣東語環境.想替她報英普班的幼稚園. 我擔心會否影響其自信心? 或思維發展?

其實只要同佢講不同語言的是不同的人，應該係冇問題的

I do not see any problem too....Many kids in Hong Kong should speak Cantonese as their first language.  English is the second language in here.

Totally agreed with them. No problem for kids but have problem for parents.

1. 家長是否能聽懂及用正確普通話回答小朋友用普通話問既問題??(禮貌上應該用相同語言回答問題)

2. 在做普通話既功課時能協助小朋友嗎??

3. 若只能考到主流學校(即要同時識得朱古力和巧克力)，你能抽出時間及耐性調教小朋友廣東話發音嗎???

由於我們相信自己做不來，所以我們沒有報過英普班!!!!!

better start at 4 years old.  some of the kindergarden provide this on K2.  on n1 and K1, kids should build up their mother lang. first.  it is good for their thinking.  that's why some of the kindergarden only start on K2.

對..我都認為要先掌握母語，我兒學校都係k2先開始英普

I think young children can learn a new language much more easier than adults or elder children.  I prefer to give them more exposure during kindergarten time. At least they will not afraid of learning a new language.  For instance, my child can pick up a few Japanese expressions after I have taught him 1-2 times only. And he can speak quite well.

我覺得唔會有問題, 我自己讀k1之前係外婆湊完全唔識廣東話, 我媽咪話我一返學完全唔識聽, 但一個禮拜已經識講番晒...三十年前嘅我得, 冇理由而家小朋友唔得lor...學第二語言係小朋友嘅強項, 唔洗担心~~

唯一留意係你可唔可以用佢學嘅語言同佢溫習囉...
