Yes, you need to sign an undertaking to give up the central allocation. There used to be a lot of places available after the central allocation. So the chances to get in are high .

If 'normal" can increase the chance to get a seat, I would prefer my son to be more "normal".

I think many seats of Raimondi will be released after the central allocation.

Your mean that two kinds of letter accept or reject? Now i am not yet to receive the letter.When did they send the letter?

I've called the school this afternoon, they confirmed even we've accept their offier, we are still allow to enter the central allocation.

Oh really?  But I've called the Raimondi officer before sending the application form asking about the central allocation and they said they won't "allow" us to enter the lucky draw section.

Below is the clause stated in the acceptance letter this year.

"the place for your child in our Primary One 2010/2011 will not be reserved if you continue to participate in the Central Allocation of Primary One administered by the Education Bureau or if you register with other government or subsidized schools (Education Bureau will send the name list of children who have been accepted by our school and still opted to remain in the Primary One Admission System.)"

My understanding of this clause is you can still participate in the Central Allocation.  The consequence is to give up the place at Raimondi.

My daughter is on the waiting list. The letter said, "Pls be informed that her name has been put in the waiting list. If any vacancy arises, you will be informed for registration in due course."

Does anyone know when will usually the school notify the applicants on the waiting list? After Nov 23?
