1429 and other mums/dads,

How many of us (who are in clarinet class) don't prefer the Monday 4:10-5:10 class?

If we have enough persons, maybe we can force Ms Pong to arrange the class on 3:10 Tuesday, or even Monday?

ps Ms Pong said the Monday class is tailor made for our kids who have already taken half year instrument class in P1.

The situation is so confusing, yet we have to submit the check next week.

I made a phone call to the responible teacher Ms龐 this morning that our kids should belong to Group 1 (every Monday 1610-1710). The tutors are the same as 小一樂器入門班.

I also made a call to Ms Pong today, she also said the same things as littlehipo said. Ms Tsang is their clarient teacher in P1, my son likes her much, he prefers to follow her in P2 as well.  If we pick the session on Tue (3:10-4:10), Ms Pong said she will try to group the same level students in one class for easy teaching after she receives all the slips from parents on Jul 6.  So, at this moment, we can write down our preference on the reply slip, and our case, so she will discuss with teacher and try to arrange the most suitable time slot for all of us.  She may give us a call later during summer holiday. But, one point she should sure is Ms Tsang can only come to KTS on Monday and the 1st session (3:10-4:10) must be arranged to the coming P1, and 2nd session (4:10-5:10) is for the coming P2, this schedule cannot be changed.

My son belongs to another group, his teacher is Mr Leung.  He said Mr Leung is ok, but I think he is indifferent to any teacher.

For Monday 4:10-5:10, I still have the school bus though this time the bus stop is a bit further away than the previous one. Arrival time is 6:30pm, but  we still need to take a bus to go home from there.

But you don't have a bus stop nearby, right?

Let's see if any other parents will respond here and decide what to do later this week.

   還沒決定.我對音樂全無認識,問阿仔佢全部都唔想學.吹奏樂佢一定唔喜歡.剩下祇有大,小提琴.怕佢學半個學期就唔喜歡咁仲煩.浪費時間和金錢.又怕放學無校車接送. 可能比佢在屋企附近學結他,真系無主意.

Unfortunately learning a musical instrument is like a tactic but not an interest now.  If you would like your kid to be more competitive when applying high school, it's better to pick up a musical instrument now(I don't like this idea but have no choice too).  Try to cultivate his interest by going to some concerts organised by City Hall.

為了小朋友一體一藝的發展作為父母肯定會盡心盡力配
合.請問除佐學校提供的西洋樂器課程,外面課程中樂器,流行樂鼓,電子琴,結他,舞蹈.唱歌.畫畫等算唔算.這樣會較多選擇.

Yes, you are right, I don't have a bus stop nearby if he takes the 4:10-5:10pm session, which means I need to pick him up by myself.  Anyway, I still will write down my comments and concern on the slips, wish to have better arrangement in the future.

kids will have musical instrument test in their music lesson since the 2nd term of P2, you better ask your son to make up his mind and start to learn either one from this summer.

yes, you are right, learning musical instrument should be a relax matter, really have no idea why it comes up like this situation all the time.  I use this chance to let my kid learning this for a life long activity.  Wishing this will not be a dream only!

梗係覺得e+既教育好古怪, 若有18般舞藝+上主科既咩咩國際應可cert., 那麼還需要入學嗎?

要為著將來升學或為了"應付"學校而學"樂器"，而不是小孩子的興趣，除了小孩子吃力，家長也真要"盡心盡力配
合"，還要支持鼓勵，讓他們願意"繼續"，甚至成為真的"興趣"，真不簡單...

希望你快快找到一樣你小朋友"中意"的樂器啦！
