大坑真光小學09-10小一學生

想跟九月入讀大坑真光小學小一的家長認識。另外，希望有經驗的家長分享一下兒女讀真光的情況。
三測三考好像挺恐怖，小朋友真的可以適應嗎？
知否今年的小一適應班在那兩天舉行？是否一定要參加？
校風是否仍然像以前般樸實傳統？
小一是怎樣分班的？有沒有精英班？

My daughter will admit the school this Sept. I also want to know the arrangement for class dividing. Other than the nice environment, the teacher are very nice and patient. P.1 Chinese will be teaching by Mandarin.

As I've heard from the parents in the primary section, 3 tests + 3 exams will keep the kid studying most of the time, but it will also ease the pressure during the exam time.

Adaptation class probably starts on 20/8.
School atomsphere is still good.

There are 4 classes in each grade and the pupils are mixed randomly (i.e. not by marks).

Thx for your sharing.  As per the parent orientation conducted last Sat, the P1 adaption class will be on 20 & 21 Aug.  Is your kid currently studing TL or will study P1?  Hope to have more sharing with P1 parents in the future!

Nice to meet you!  Seems that there's no special class division.  Will you go to school for uniform & book purchase in mid-Jul and will you girl join the adaption class on 20 & 21 Aug.

Nice to meet you!
I will go ahead to buy uniform and books for her. Besides, she can't join the adaption class as we hv scheduled a trip during the mentioned dates.
Hope our princess have a happy school life there!

I've bought her the uniform & books.  For the books, I can't get all (14 books are still not yet published).  We also have trip by end-Aug but luckily we depart by 21 Aug evening so my girl can join the adaption class.  Anyway, hope to meet you in the future!
