The examiner would only play the piano.
The aural for grade 1 is
1. tap the pulse when the examiner is playing the music. Then you need to tell it is in 2 or 3 times
2. sing 3 short phrases as echo
3. find out the rhythmic changes for 2 short phrases
4. answer some questions, such as loud/soft, tempo changes, legato/staccto and so on.

Do you mean the public library?  When I searched their website just now, they only have the aural training CD for grade 4 and above.  I need the CD for grade 3.  Where else will it be available?

will your teacher help training aural skills?
CD is good but once the children getting used to the questions, they don't really answer for the music but the answers only

Same here.  I also want to know how will the children be tested and train my son in advance.  My son is learning violin as a group and I was told that the teacher will not train the kids until September.  My son will take his exam in late Oct/early Nov. It would be a good idea to let him familiarize with what he is supposed to do for aural tests during his summer vacation.

wootaitai,
I managed to locate the CD now when I typed a different keyword while searching the public library website.  It's actually available in quite a number of public libraries.

The aural  for grade 2 is similar to grade 1.
However, the changes would not be limited to rhythmic changes but also melodic changes in part C. Candidates might need to tell where and how the changes are.
For part D, students might need to answer the changes of volume is suddenly or gradually.

to train for aural test casually,
(1) TAPPING RHYTHM
- put on any classical music such as mozart or beethoven as background music for sometime (perhaps a week or two as background music), and then play any piece at random time and ask your kid try to TAP the pulse.  Once your kid get -the-hang of it, ask her/him to do it again, TAP the first beat louder.

(2) Sing as an echo
-again, just put on any songs and ask your kid to sing back what they hear.
OR
- pick a bar (or maybe 2 bars) from their repertoire and ask them to sing it back from memory

(3) Rhythmic change
- this requires the child to be able to identify obvious difference from some similar melody

(4) Musical features
know the vocabulary cold! (preferably know how to read those in Italian terms).  That is:
a) Dynamics - Forte (loud) / piano(soft)
b) Articulation - staccato (detached) / legato (connect)
c) Tempo change - accelerando (speed up) / rallentando (slow down)
d) Gradation of tone - Crescendo(gradually getting louder) / Decrescendo (gradually getting softer)
