各位家長:

請問你們的子女曾經有沒有參加由明日棟樑教育基金舉辦的學童智能檢查, 它有什麼好處, 和它的評估是否受認可?

May I know by what criteria will kids be invited to join the gifted club? How many marks has your daughter got?

我朋友的兒子剛接到評估成績, 亦是135+, 他的兒子是參加7月4日的考核, 我朋友說, 他兒子的同學們和他朋友的兒子們都是135+, 所以我有些懷疑, 不知好不好報名參加該機構於11月份的考核.

I've just submit the application form for my daughter, after heard your result, I'm wonder whether the organization's intention of the event. Do any one have the experience, pls comment.

據了解,5月時(?)有若兩成參加者得分超過130,估計是由於不少懷疑自己小朋友是資優的家長從來沒有機會做測試,故此人數偏多是正常的--試想想拿低分的家長會否如取135+的般向外公開宣佈?

雷文氏漸進式矩陣評量工具簡介：
-是一個不牽涉語文能力的智力評量工具，為香港教育統籌局及其他政府機構廣泛使用，亦是國際認可的智能測驗之一
-主要透過評估受試者的辨別、推類、排列及其他邏輯關係的能力來推斷他們的智能水平-亦即是一般所指的智商(IQ)
-由於雷文氏漸進式矩陣偏重圖像的推理分析而不涉及言語的運用，所以測試結果只代表學童的非語言(non-verbal)智能表現

I have two daughters joined the test and they got 120 and 135 respectively. And also, one of my niece got 122. So i don't think they would gave the same results to every person. Don't worry. I decided to make a further detail test for my daughters. What do you suggest? anyone.

My friends' son and daughters joined the test on July. Their result is 120, 135+ and 134 respectively. It seems so many children got the marks as gifted child?!

Those with IQ of 130+ belong to 2.2% of the whole population. Given HK's birth rate is somewhere between 40K and 60K a year, there are about a few thousand gifted children between 5 and 10.

My only concern is whether this organization is truly non-profit-making. If not, it might explain the high number of very superior or gifted children. Possible, but I really have no idea.

上幾期壹周刊報導過這個機構有騙詐成份，如果沒有記錯是七月十五日那一期。各位要小心。
