弘立(ISF)學費3500元!

如果ISF的school fee只是3500一個月,你們會選擇它嗎?
因我今天帶呀女去學嘢時,聽到隔離有媽咪同佢朋友的對話中說到她的兒子因有資助.故讀ISF只需交3500一個月,但佢話現在想轉去英基,因弘立啲學費又加,佢驚遲啲冇資助就慘了
我當時心裹不知幾羨慕她可以此價錢讀弘立,仲想轉去ESF,真的身在福中不知福,比我果飯應!

ISF 同 ESF 好唔同，ISF 係中文主道，小學主要用中文，ESF 係全英語學校，中文水平低得多，可以咁講，兩邊係極端，各有各的特色，我唔覺得喜愛 ISF 的家長，同喜愛 ESF 的家長會係同一群，而且，無論 ISF 或 ESF ，也唔係你話想轉就轉。
我估每個人的選擇，都會的個人的原因。
在 "路邊" 聽回來的，我通常聽過就算，反正人家講的，可能只係 "吹下水"。
我也 "聽" 過，有路人大大聲話 SJS 同 BHS 同時收佢仔，唔知點揀喎，難得又有人 (佢同行的朋友) 信。

It is very obvious that you are very impressed by ISF.  But think carefully and be realistic.  If you can't afford its school fees now, it's better not to let your kid get into the school.  The school expenses will be a longterm burden to your family!  

Why not try to do more research on other schools that can fit well in YOUR requirements, ie. the curriculum, atmosphere, location & fees, etc).  There should be a 2nd, 3rd choice around.

Saturn 講了我一直想講的。
學校好唔好固然重要，但真的不要將自己的經濟負擔 stretch 得太盡，亦不必因為自己未能負擔某學校學費而感到難過。
最稱職的家長，不是那些不理一切送孩子入讀學費高的國際學校的家長，而是那些量入為出為孩子選擇配合自己經濟狀況的學校的那些家長。
記著，為孩子選校，也是一個教孩子處理財務的機，要讓孩子明白，無論買物品，還是選學校，講到尾，都要睇錢，萬事都要看自己的經濟狀況。

Yeah, the program is for real.  Some 15% of the students are on financial aid and scholarships.
